Mrs Pnina Feldman – Chairperson, President and Executive Director
Mrs Feldman has been active in the mineral exploration industry for 15 years, in which time she has shown much tenacity in sourcing, negotiating, and developing exploration and resource projects across Australia, and internationally. She was the founder and executive Chairperson of the publicly listed Diamond Rose NL, and was the first woman in Australia to achieve that milestone in the mining industry. Mrs Feldman has been successful in negotiating many joint ventures with major companies including BHP and De Beers.
Mrs Feldman studied Law and Arts at Melbourne University before going to Gateshead, England where she studied teaching, religion and education. She has been the founder and driving force behind, and benefactor to, numerous communal, educational, charitable and women’s awareness initiatives, and in 2007 received the Wentworth community award for outstanding community service. Mrs Feldman is the current Chair and an Executive Director of Queensland Bauxite Limited, an ASX listed company which she founded.
Mr Sholom Feldman – Managing Director and Company Secretary
Mr Feldman has extensive experience in general commercial management, has performed advisory and company secretarial work for both listed and unlisted companies and has managed both private and listed exploration companies. Mr Feldman was General Manager of the publicly listed Diamond Rose NL between 1999 and 2005 and is a director and manager of a number of private companies. Mr Feldman is also an Executive Director and Company Secretary of Queensland Bauxite Limited, an ASX publicly listed company. He has developed a wide range of knowledge of and contacts in the mineral industry internationally.
Mr Feldman has been involved in negotiating, financing, developing and managing many exploration projects internationally including the negotiating and sale to Murchison Metals Limited of the Pilbara Iron Ore Project and purchase of the Guanaco Mine in Chile from the Canadian Kinross Corporation, and subsequently their Australian gold assets including the Norseman and Broads Dam Gold Projects. He studied at the International MBA programme at Bar Ilan University in Israel and has also completed a Company Secretarial Practice & Meetings course with the Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries Australia.
Mr Paul Stephenson – Director
Mr Stephenson has degrees in law and the arts and is a Partner with the Australiannational law firm, HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. He practices in the areas of public and private fundraising, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions involving both public and private companies. He has also acted for companies listed in multiple jurisdictions. Mr Stephenson has wide experience and has acted on behalf of companies in industry sectors covering mining and resources, financial markets, pay TV retailing, mobile telephony, automated teller machines and listed investment companies and trusts, including in relation to other commercial, corporate, fundraising and compliance work.
Mr Shmuel Feldman – Business Development
Shmuel Feldman received numerous qualifications in the USA and Israel. His entry into the business world comes with a wealth of family experience in mining.
Mr Feldman’s expertise is in structured finance for exploration and mining companies and negotiating their offtake. His main focus for the company has been in the development and procuring finance for its bauxite acquisitions and strategic alliances to develop and consolidate its assets.
Dr Robert Coenraads
Dr Robert Coenraads is a qualified geologist, geophysicist and gemologist with over 30 years experience in exploration and mining worldwide. He has written 4 internationally published books on geology, over 40 scientific papers, and numerous unpublished independent and company reports. Dr Coenraads is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Australia (GAA). He completed his Ph.D. at Macquarie University, Sydney, and his Diploma in Gemmology at the GAA, in 1991; his M.Sc. at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, in 1982; and his BA(Hons.) in geology and geophysics at Macquarie University in 1978.
Mr Peter Temby
Peter Temby has extensive Australian and international experience in mineral exploration, resource evaluation and project development. He has been involved in the minerals and exploration industry since 1969 and his expertise has been utilized by both large and small exploration companies and individuals, including Stockdale Exploration Pty Ltd, Clutha Services Limited, Blue Circle Southern Cement Limited and CRA Exploration Pty Ltd.
Experience with major companies has included advice leading to the entry of CRAE into the Ashton J V and the initial discoveries of diamonds at Ellendale, discovery of Mudtank Vermiculite deposit, development of predictive coal quality and mine roof control problem models for the Western Coalfield as well as development of effective sampling techniques for gold and diamonds for a range of environments.
He established his own consulting and contracting business in 1995 and his considerable knowledge, experience and expertise has been called upon by a number of private and public companies, the NSW Department of Mineral Resources and the University of NSW in dealing with a range of commodities and deposit styles including both hard rock and alluvial gold and diamonds as well as bauxite, copper, lead, nickel, zinc, coal, dimension stone, sand, clays and vermiculite. This work has ranged from reviews of previous exploration to development of predictive geological models, exploration planning and project management, resource and reserve estimation as well as preparation of mine plans and environmental management plans. Work has also involved preparation of a series of independent geological reports for prospectus as well as company reports for inclusion in IPO documents and Information memoranda. Projects have been located in remote regions overseas as well as throughout Australia.
Peter Temby gained his geological qualifications at RMIT in Melbourne and is a member of The Australian Institute of Geoscientists and The Society of Economic Geologists.
Dr. Simon Pecover
Dr. Pecover is a geoscientist, completing his Ph.D. from the University of Sydney with over 30 years of experience in the minerals industry. He has a rich experience from diverse positions held in both public and private companies. His positions includes minerals project geologist in the New South Wales Geological Survey, chief geologist, directorship at various companies, and as lecturer in economic geology and ore deposit formation at the University of Technology, Sydney. He has also worked on exploration and mine development projects in Thailand and China.
